The ‘why threaten my job’ response reel would work well for Abbott’s revival of Workchoices.

I might just keep a copy of this ad filed away for that very purpose, Templemonkey

This video clip has gone meme – 10,000 views on You Tube and lots of independent linkage on Facebook and Twitter. Well done old boy.

How ironic.
You’ve taken the groupthink domain name and created a web site that celebrates groupthink, instead of critiquing it.
Errm, its actually a term indicating criticism. You know, for people who believe in “the consensus” of CAWG, and support a tax that will collect 100′s of billions of dollars yet allegedly reduce said alleged warming by only .0038 degrees by their own calculations – not even remotely close to what would be required to allegedly save the world from the alleged CAWG.
I feel sorry for such groupthinkers, you celebrate them. How very strange.

You seem to revel in the prospect of displacing the jobs of redneck bogans with your carpet bagging eco-pro buddies. Yee haa. The time will come pretty soon when the ecoscammerfags are all going to have to get real jobs, or at least some other public disservice position.

The video is great – it’s not about rednecks loosing there jobs – it’s really recognition that all a big organisation (say mining, clubs australia etc..) has to do is spend a bunch of cash to persuade the public of anything they want us to think – and it works
These companies have effectively persuaded us that if the government interferes with their revenue streams that they will pass the costs on, or reduce community spending!
to me now in business it seems easier to intimidate the government, than actually work hard on doing business better – profit profit profit

Spock you rock.
I haven’t been online much lately, but on behalf of me, my mum, my brother, and especially my wife (and our new daughter).
Cheers big ears.
Well done.

I think there must have been some form of “groupthink” by proxy on this one.
I began a discussion with my workmates in the lunchroom about this terrible commercial I’d been seeing frequently on TV. I was then going to show them the YouTube clip of the original commercial and comment on the similarities between it and the South Park episode.
To find that someone had already published a parody video outlining the exact point i was trying to make was truly a momentous event. With tears streaming down my face and choking upon my own laughter, I think my point was well received.
If you are the creator of this video Spock, I take my hat off to you. Very well done.

Sounds like a succession of “talk”back hosts and “callers”.
