		<description>The only real issue with legalised euthanasia that I can see are the reports from Holland about a decline in the standard of palliative care that accompanied its legalisation.  I honestly don&#039;t know how accurate the studies are - but to my mind thats something thats worth considering.

Removing the sanction against assisted suicide, and keeping the whole issue out of the hands of the medical establishment/industry, but leaving it in the hands of families, is a sure way to get rid of the &quot;slippery slope&quot; argument re yoof in asia.  And I agree, in general it should be consigned to the dustbin, where it belongs.

BTW  Sorry to hear yor trip was cut short, hope the family thing works out...</description>
